DCP has announced that John Read, based in its Norwich office, has been made a Partner.
John has been with DCP for nearly 17 years, joining as a trainee building surveyor in 2003. A graduate of Royal Holloway and Anglia Ruskin, he was chartered as a building surveyor in 2010 and made an Associate of DCP in 2015. In addition to membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, John is also a member of the Association of Project Safety and the Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors.
Offering his congratulations, Senior Partner, Robert Dale, said: “As the practice continues to thrive and grow we are very pleased to provide opportunities for career progression allowing our staff to fulfil their potential. This is a well-deserved promotion for John.”
In his time to date with DCP, John has worked on a huge variety of projects. Particular highlights include the initial development and subsequent extension of the Spectra Packaging plant at Halesworth in Suffolk and, during a secondment to our London office, working at the renowned Brit School in Croyden.
When not at work John is a keen sportsman, with cricket and five-a-side football being particular favourites. He is a stalwart Norwich City fan and surprisingly partial to Pontefract cakes!
