Consultancy firm Daniel Connal Partnership (DCP) has started 2022 with its best foot forward, having secured a place on the LHC Procurement Framework for public sector buildings and homes until 2028.

Worth £500 million over six years to suppliers listed on the Framework, firms will support public sector organisations across two divisions of the UK – one covering the North of England, Midlands and Anglia, and another covering London and the South-east of England. DCP have been appointed to provide Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying and Project Management services.

Simon Jacklin, Senior Partner and Framework lead at Daniel Connal Partnership, said: “We are so pleased to secure a place on the LHC Framework, what a great start to the year! The application process was rigorous so achieving a place shows that our processes and procedures meet their high expectations for the delivery of public building projects.”

He added: “We look forward to working with a great group of quality firms to deliver projects for UK communities under the Framework for the next six years to deliver building works for the benefit of education, healthcare, emergency services, community buildings, mixed-use housing developments, commercial and other public-interest schemes.”

The framework of construction specialists has 12 workstreams for projects by local authorities; social landlords; tenant management organisations; health authorities; trusts; publicly funded schools; further education establishments, and registered charities.

By securing a place as a pre-approved supplier on this Framework, public organisations are assured of high-quality project support by utilising the services of Framework members.

Applicants to the Framework were evaluated on customer service, site and procurement risk, equality diversity and inclusion matters, sensitivity to client needs as well as flexibility. Tenders were evaluated on a 70% quality and 30% price to make the framework as balanced as possible and even the playing field for micro-SMEs, small enterprises, and medium to large companies.

Operating out of three offices in London, Colchester and Norwich, Daniel Connal Partnership is a highly experienced team of project managers, quantity surveyors, building surveyors and health & safety advisers that celebrated its 75-year anniversary in 2021.

All appointed companies had to be registered and qualified organisations with experience of working to the requirements of insurance companies, and any organisation which is bound to procure under the requirements of PCR2015 is encouraged to access and use firms in the LHC Framework.

The LHC Framework launched on 11th January 2022 and will run for six years until 2028.
