Colchester Amphora Energy Limited (CAEL) is delighted to announce the appointment of Robert Hull, as a new Non-Executive Director to the CAEL Board.CAEL, a company wholly owned by Colchester Borough Council, is responsible for the promotion and delivery of low-carbon energy projects and provides technical expertise on renewable energy to the council.As an independent consultant, Robert Hull brings over 30 years’ senior leadership experience in the energy and utility sectors. He founded Riverswan Energy Advisory, in 2017, to advise power and utility clients worldwide. This followed a 10-year role as Managing Director at Ofgem and three years as Director at KPMG advising a wide range of UK and international energy and utility clients.Robert has held board-level roles with UK energy regulator Ofgem, National Grid, the UK Government, and consultancy firm KPMG. He remains a senior adviser to Ofgem amongst other non-executive roles. Paul Smith, Managing Director of CAEL, said: “Robert brings an impressive wealth of experience to this role. This landmark project is supported by the Department for Business, Enterprise and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) through a £3.5m Heat Network Investment Project grant. |
