An Ipswich contractor is targeting further growth after appointing a new Construction Director.
Gary Rush, the new Construction Director at Aspen Build, said he hopes to “set the standard for excellence” in his new role following his promotion from Construction Manager in December.
His promotion comes as he approaches his 10th anniversary with the company, having risen through the ranks since joining the firm in 2016.
Gary said: “I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity to step into the role of Director after nearly 10 years with Aspen.
“This promotion represents more than a title – it reflects years of shared challenges, hard work and a commitment to building with integrity.
“I’m thankful for the trust placed in me and for the leaders who believed in my growth along the way.
“We’re building more than projects and have built trust, resilience and a culture that values quality and good people.
“I’m proud to work alongside such a dedicated group, and I look forward to continuing to grow the company together, setting the standard for excellence in construction and leadership in the years ahead.”
Recent projects Gary has led on include the ongoing work to build 67 new affordable homes at Lime Kiln in Claydon, near Ipswich, for Flagship Homes.
James Betts, Operations Director at Aspen Build, said his work on sites like Lime Kiln has created “a genuine sense of unity” among staff.
He added: “Gary has grown with Aspen over nearly a decade, and his appointment as Construction Director reflects both his personal capability and the direction of the business.
“He is widely admired by our teams, leads with integrity, and creates a genuine sense of unity across our sites.
“Gary is central to shaping how we deliver projects – with quality, consistency and people at the heart of everything we do.”
