Two Barnes Construction employees started 2020 on a high after being recognised for their good work.
Senior QS, Matt McLaughlin won the National Rising Star Award at the annual Interact lunch, where he was up against strong competition from other regional winners. Matt has successfully moved through the ranks at Barnes and is currently managing various multi-million-pound schemes. He also continues to mentor successive new management trainees helping them on their career journey.
Site manager, Wayne Fleet received the SPACES Young Visionary Award – Contractor, recognising his management of the Barking Town Hall project. Along with his confidence and communication abilities, the judges were impressed by his customer awareness, management and site skills.
