Developer Barratt Homes has sponsored The Bunbury Players Amateur Dramatics Group’s upcoming pantomime of Aladdin in Mildenhall, Suffolk.
With the production taking place at The Jubilee Centre in Mildenhall between Wednesday 19th and Saturday 22nd February, Barratt Homes has been announced as the main sponsor of the in-genie-ous adaptation.
The cast members assembled at the five-star developer’s Hunter’s Chase development in Red Lodge to meet with Sales Advisers, Helen and Lizzie, for a series of Aladdin-themed antics in the show homes.
Production costs are increasing each year for the Bunbury Players, and Barratt Homes has offered a helping hand in putting on this laugh-a-minute pantomime for the local community.
Darren Mather, Chairman of the Bunbury Players, said: “We are thrilled to have Barratt Homes supporting us for Aladdin. It is so expensive to put on a community show nowadays, and this really helps to keep theatre alive in our local area.”
Alongside the Aladdin characters, those in attendance will be invited to enjoy the slapstick comedy of the renowned panto favourites of Widow Twankey and Wishee Washee.
Annette Hurst, Sales Director at Barratt Homes Eastern Counties, said: “We’re delighted to support The Bunbury Players Amateur Dramatics Group by sponsoring their production of Aladdin.
“As a leading developer, we endeavour to help charities and community groups where we can and we wish the cast members all the best for their upcoming performances.”
Aladdin will be shown at The Jubilee Centre on 19th to 21st February at 7:30pm and on 22nd February at 2pm.
