A new month is here – and so is our bright, new website as we continue an ever exciting 2026 for Construction Anglia and our network.
We’re thrilled to unveil our new-look website – a one-stop shop for all things news, opinion and events in the East of England construction industry. We definitely didn’t write this expecting to share it in January…
So what can you expect? Here you’ll find a much more enjoyable user experience alongside the same great stories our newshounds curate around-the-clock.
We’ll continue to bring you updates on the biggest builds in our region, whether that’s the megaproject at Sizewell C, the upcoming Universal theme park in Bedford or plans for new hospitals in Bury St Edmunds and Gorleston.

There’s new content for you to sink your teeth into, too. That includes our new Movers and Shakers section, with run-downs published every quarter to highlight the big moves in the region’s sector. There will also be an updated features list for the year, covering everything from housing to healthcare.
I’m also excited to share that I will be launching my own monthly column, Constructing Conversations, covering everything from trending topics and industry highlights to the things that grind our gears in the sector.
But who am I? Many of you might quite rightly be asking yourselves. While my day job doesn’t usually involve a hard hat, construction is at the very core of everything I do. My career has taken me from telly to marketing – and since 2020, the news – with my love for the construction industry seeing me work with big name businesses across the country.

I’m happier in my steel toe caps than I am high heels and have thrown myself into the deep end over the past 10 years getting stuck into this incredible sector.
I also run an initiative called Women in Construction Anglia, which serves as a platform to provide visible role models to attract more people into construction. So, you could say I’ve got a lot to talk about!

We’d love to welcome new regular contributors, too, so if you’ve got an opinion you’d like to share, please get in touch.
If speaking your mind isn’t your thing, don’t fret. There’s still plenty of ways to get involved, whether that’s sending in your press releases or taking advantage of our competitive new advertising offers.
But Construction Anglia has, and always will be, more than just a source of news. We’ll be out on the road – particularly with our colleagues at Women in Construction Anglia – giving our readers the chance to network, collaborate and join forces in ensuring our region’s voice isn’t just heard, but celebrated.
If you’d like to learn more about how you can get involved – whether that’s through advertising, editorial or events, drop us a line today.
From all of us at Construction Anglia, here’s to a great 2026.
