The new line-up of building companies on the Essex Construction Framework 2 is longer than before and will deliver a £400 million programme of projects.
Essex County Council announced the new four-year framework comes into force this month, confirming there were now eight firms in each lot size compared to five.
The increase is designed to minimise any issues from a contractor ceasing trading.
Kier was pleased to make the list again. Mark Dady, managing director at Kier Regional Building Eastern, said: “We’re very pleased to have been successfully reappointed to the Essex Construction Framework.
“We look forward to continuing to work closely with Essex County Council to deliver projects procured through the framework.”
