Housebuilder Lovell has announced that its East Anglia region has been granted planning consent to build 60 brand-new homes off Wattisfield Road in Walsham le Willows.
The Acorns will include 39 properties available for open market sale through Lovell Homes as well as 21 affordable units.
Simon Medler, regional managing director at Lovell, said: “We are thrilled to have received planning approval on this site in Walsham le Willows, where we’re looking forward to bringing 60 brand-new homes for affordable rent and open market sale.
“This development will provide a collection of two, three and four-bedroom houses and three-bedroom bungalows, which will help to tackle the shortage of new homes across the region.”
Located in the mid-Suffolk village of Walsham le Willows has a tranquil yet well-connected setting with the market town of Diss just thirteen miles away offering regular and direct railway services to Norwich, Ipswich, Colchester, Chelmsford and London Liverpool Street.
Planners have also Planners have given the East Anglia region of Lovell the go ahead on a brand-new development of 69 homes located off Manor Road in Newton St Faith.
This new development will create much-needed homes in Norwich, with 61 properties available for open-market sale through Lovell Homes as well as eight affordable units.
Mr Medler said: “The development will provide a collection of two, three and four-bedroom houses and three-bedroom bungalows, which will help to tackle the demand for new homes across the region.”
