Lovell has strengthened its team with the appointment of land director, Chris Allison.

Chris has over 17 years’ experience in the housebuilding industry, previously working at Taylor Wimpey. Chris will be responsible for finding and securing new land opportunities to enable Lovell to continue to grow its pipeline of developments across East Anglia.

Chris, who lives in Bury St Edmunds, said: “I feel honoured to be working for Lovell with its excellent reputation for building quality homes, creating thriving communities and the support and care it gives its team. Establishing relationships with key stakeholders is key to a successful land purchase. I will be sourcing the best land opportunities that fit the company’s growth plans. Having a continuous, stable pipeline will be the biggest contributing factor to our success. Of course, one of the biggest challenges with buying  land  is that it’s competitive in nature, so well informed land buying will put us in the best position possible.  I am looking forward to building on the excellent reputation that Lovell already have in the market.”

Simon Medler, Regional Managing Director for Lovell, said: “With his wealth of knowledge and experience, and ability to secure the best land opportunities and establish long-term relationships with partners, Chris is an excellent addition to the Lovell team. We know that Chris will play a key role in helping secure our plans for growth across the region.”

Chris is a Chartered Surveyor by trade, specialising in Planning and Development and  has a BA in Business and Management and a MSc in Surveying.

Lovell is a partnership housing expert and a leading provider of innovative and high-quality residential construction and regeneration developments across the UK, building homes, sourcing land and investing in communities.
