An Ipswich shipping container business has seen significant growth in its line of pre-fabricated cabin containers.

The containers, which can be modified to suit a host of uses, can provide useful temporary space for use as construction site offices, kitchens, cloakrooms or even classrooms for schools.

Here, Adaptainer Account Manager James Curtis looks into this increasingly popular product and how they can help businesses grow without breaking the bank.

A container for every need

A huge advantage of using cabin containers is their versatility.

Whether a business needs a temporary fix, like providing some short-term additional storage, or is seeking more long-term office space, there’s a container solution to solve any problem.

Cabins are becoming increasingly popular among Adaptainer’s products, with companies getting in touch with all sorts of requests.

Each cabin container can be fabricated or adapted to a business’ needs, whether it’s a school looking for additional temporary classrooms or a business requiring extra office space as they grow and flourish.

A flexible solution

With standalone cabins you are not limited in any way, they can be fitted out for any requirement and any challenge a business can face.

You can also use them in a modular way, grouping several together to create a mini village or even double-stack them one on top of the other with a staircase leading up the side – they are just so versatile.

When businesses get bigger for whatever reason and you need more space, you can easily add to it – adapting your cabin containers to suit any use.

If it’s a big school in need of classrooms, for example, you can create a new block of temporary learning spaces including toilet cabins, cloakrooms and science labs.

I remember at my school when I was younger, the site went through a rebuild and had cabins as classrooms – we can help schools do the same.

In fact, I recently quoted a school for seven blocks of modular units including a workshop, reception, toilets and classrooms as they upgrade its facilities.

Cabins for every business

Among those to use our cabin containers is Powerday, a company providing waste management and skip hire services with eight depots across the UK, with a new depot opening in Croydon soon.

It’s an exciting time for the business and we were happy to supply them with cabins for their head office in Willesden.

This included an office unit, a storage container along with a drying room, which they would use for employees to get changed.

It’s great to know our containers are helping the company take the next step, giving them flexible workspaces while they expand and grow.

If you need some extra office space, a temporary workshop or some additional storage on site, give us a call and our team will find you the perfect container solution for your needs.
