The construction of a state-of-the-art, multi-million-pound company headquarters for AVANT Tecno UK has been completed.
Crafted by local firm SEH French and led by Churchmanor Estates, the 32,200sq ft facility in Bury St Edmunds is the new home of the agricultural loader firm’s UK operations.
Representatives from Avant Tecno and Churchmanor Estates will gather with the SEH French team at Suffolk Business Park on the November 22 to mark the milestone handover.
Raimo Ala-Korpi, Managing Director of AVANT Tecno UK Ltd, said: “Needless to say this is a huge milestone for our company – and especially our AVANT team in the UK. A few years ago, our team made concrete plans to support our growth in the British Isles, and one of the key goals was to improve our facilities to enable us to improve our services to our end-users and dealers in the UK.
“I am pleased to say today that the new era in Bury St Edmunds begins now.”
AVANT Tecno UK had previously been based near Thetford since 1999, but continued rapid growth saw the need with a new purpose-built headquarters – boasting office space, a showroom, dedicated training facilities, a warehouse with automated technologies and a new technical workshop space.
The building is highly sustainable and expected to receive a BREEAM rating of “Excellent”.
Neil Pryke, Contracts Manager at SEH French, said: “We’re honoured to have played a role in creating AVANT Tecno UK’s new headquarters.
“Handing over the keys to this remarkable facility is a proud moment for us all – it’s been a true team accomplishment.”
Matt Cloke, Development Director at Churchmanor Estates, added: “It’s been a pleasure and privilege to work in partnership with AVANT Tecno UK from the very outset of this project.
“This has resulted in a fit for purpose, sustainable, and attractive building, from which Avant can embark on the next stage of their business journey within the UK with confidence.
“It’s a testament to the collaborative working approach by all involved from start to finish.”
