Housing developer Lovell has received a bronze award at the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) National Site Awards for its Southend Road development, Styleman Court, at Hunstanton, built in partnership with the Borough Council of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk (BCKLWN).
The development was recognised for its excellent standards and for Lovell and BCKLWN creating positive change in the community.
Simon Medler, regional managing director at Lovell, commented: “Winning this award is a proud moment for the team and strengthens the position of Lovell as a leader in the construction industry, as well as celebrating the excellent partnership we have with the Borough Council of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk.”
Cllr Alistair Beales, the borough council’s cabinet member for business, said: “Building homes is about more than bricks and mortar and it is important to the council that we approach construction in a way that is responsible and considerate to the community. We will only appoint construction partners who support this approach and this award for Southend Road is an excellent reflection of our joint attitude to developing new homes in a way that respectful of the needs of existing residents in Hunstanton.”
The CCS National Site Awards were held on 30th April at The Brewery, London, with Russell Edwards, Michael Saunders, Will McConnell and Holly Baker from Lovell attending. Established in 1998, the awards recognise the sites that have made the greatest contribution towards improving the image of construction and celebrate the sites that uphold the highest quality standards.
The stunning properties at Styleman Court which is located a short distance from the seafront and town centre at Hunstanton are being sold by William H Brown.
