Peterborough-based housebuilder Barratt and David Wilson Homes Cambridgeshire, has recently appointed a new Head of Customer Care as part of their team.

Vicki Hart, 45, from Milton Keynes, joined the housebuilder recently and has worked throughout the lockdown period helping new residents to settle into their homes.

Having spent 12 years working for the National House Building Council (NHBC), Vicki is using her knowledge and expertise of new build homes to effectively help Barratt and David Wilson Homes’ customers.

Vicki said: “During my time at the NHBC, Barratt and David Wilson Homes had an excellent reputation for its customer care, and it was a team I strived to work with.

“Customer care is extremely important to me. I believe good customer care stems from good communication.

“I find my job very rewarding. My favourite part about it is leaving the customer in a better situation than when they first approached us. It’s always a good feeling to see a happy customer, meaning the residents can continue enjoying the fantastic homes they bought.

Following the results of the Home Builders Federation (HBF) annual New Homes Survey, parent company Barratt Developments was recently recognised as a five star housebuilder for the 11th successive year, meaning over 90% of customers would recommend the developer to a friend or family member.

Adam Knight, Managing Director for Barratt and David Wilson Homes Cambridgeshire, said: “Delivering on customer care is our top priority and we work closely with our residents to ensure that their expectations are exceeded.

“To have someone with the experience and knowledge that Vicki possesses for new build homes means we are in great confidence our customers are being well looked after.

“We would like to wish Vicki the best in her career with us, and we continue to look forward to watching her use her skills for the company.”
