An award-winning East Anglian housebuilder is looking forward to a positive return to business after the three-month Coronavirus lockdown – and has welcomed the Stamp Duty Holiday announced recently.

Bennett Homes, based in Nowton, has now re-started construction on most of its developments across Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex, as well as re-opening its Show Homes and Sales Offices. All viewings are by appointment to ensure the safety of customers and staff.

Interest from buyers has been strong across all developments, particularly for family homes in more rural settings as people re-evaluate their lifestyles in the light of COVID-19 and more are able to work from home.

Edward Parker, Managing Director of Bennett Homes said: “Getting back to work both in terms of construction at our developments and our sales operations has been a positive experience. We have been delighted by the number of buyers who have come back after the lockdown and also new customers who are now keen to move.

“The Government’s Stamp Duty Holiday will undoubtedly help recovery over the coming months and is a welcome help to buyers.

“Not only have we seen high levels of interest at our existing developments but we are also launching two new ones this Summer: St Edmund’s Park in Hunstanton and The Hollies at Wereham. We look forward to welcoming buyers to these locations in due course.”
