Max Steward, former Managing Director of ISG Agility, and Chris Pratt, former joint Managing Director of BW Workplace Experts, have today launched Archer, a dynamic new company specialising in CAT A & B commercial office projects for landlords and occupiers, using traditional and hybrid Detail & Build procurement routes.

Archer reunites Steward and Pratt to reform their successful partnership after two years apart. Their combined experience and leadership spans decades in high-profile fit-out projects. The aim of their new venture is built on the foundation of providing an owner-led, user-friendly and value-added customer experience, where speed, attention to detail and precision quality craftsmanship are paramount.

Max Steward commented: “We are specialists in the commercial office fit out sector. Our mission is to build a brand synonymous with reliable, agile, and precision-focused project delivery, which is where the name comes from. We see a need in the market for a truly agile, forward-thinking offering that not only embraces the latest technologies, but also prioritises good old-fashioned customer care.”

Chris Pratt, added, “We are focused on continually adding value and delivering exceptional quality at every stage of the project. We believe that the key to success is a hands-on approach and providing clients and consultants with an owner-led personal delivery, resulting in a business that has a reputation built on lasting relationships forged on trust and exceptional service.”

Archer will also benefit from the expertise of Mike Garrett and Jacob Hegarty both of office Design & Build specialist, Ikon – who will act as supportive partners and stakeholders in Archer.
Ikon, known for its high-quality installations and repeat business strategy, has achieved significant growth, with projected revenues of £16 million in 2024 and an anticipated increase to £24 million in 2025.
Garrett’s and Hegarty’s involvement strengthens Archer’s offering, enabling it to leverage Ikon’s experience and established track record in the sector.

Mike Garrett, Managing Director of Ikon, said: “This exciting partnership also allows us to harness Max and Chris’ vast experience to further bolster Ikon’s approach to project delivery, quality and process, which will be key in supporting our current growth, whilst maintaining the speed and flexibility of our D&B business”.

Archer’s mission is to address a market gap and increased demand for a company offering both Traditional and Detail & Build procurement options, combining the speed, agility, and flexibility of the Design & Build model, with meticulous, high-quality solutions.
